I get what you're saying, and I agree that gay and Trans people should be treated more fairly, however, I have a few qualms with your arguments.
-Constant use of republicans is stereotypical and biased. This makes me want to stop reading altogether.
-[i]Homelessness:[/i] 40% of homeless youth are gay/trans. So that means that 60% are straight. What point are you trying to make here? Both sides are just about equally homeless. EDIT: Looking back at this, I made an awful point and concede to his point here.
-[i]Representation:[/i] Okay, let's look at the facts here. It's been reported that up to 5% of people in America. FIVE PERCENT. In most every TV show I watch there are gay characters. Heck, Star Wars is getting a gay character. There's [i]plenty[/i] of representation in the media.
Lastly, this isn't the place to try to make a point. It's bungie. And bungie... bungie never changes.

People in America and homeless youth are different statistics, he Mathed just right actually. Re-read it if you have to.

I'm aware of that. Perhaps I wasn't clear in what I'm saying. I wasn't trying to insinuate that he had done math incorrectly, though it may appear that way. Also, as a whole, gay people make up around 5% of the population. So I guess my question for him is, why do we need gay people in a majority of our shows when only 5% of the population is gay? Sorry for the misunderstanding.
