Remember the 20th century, when 18 year olds fought in WWI, WWII, and the Korean and Vietnam Wars without hesitation?
Now, welcome to the 21st century, where 18 year olds need a "safe place" and "special treatment" because "words can hurt" and they should not be "misgendered."
Guess what, kiddo? This world doesn't owe you JACK SHIT. You are entitled to nothing. Same goes for every other person on the planet. Just because you're "different" doesn't mean the world has to accept you.
Tell me more about how people fought in those wars "without hesitation" when there were thousands of draft dodgers and tons of protests going on. Moreover, the type of pro war propaganda that flew in WWII's days will never exist again. The comparison between now and the war days is downright stupid and completely wrong.
Black people were highly segregated back in those days too. Was that better? Oh, wait, I'm on Bungie's forums so tons of edgy 12 year olds will race to say "yes" to that... Regardless, things have changed significantly from those days. Society is far more tolerant and accepting of people now and that's not bad. It's not ok to beat your wife, it's not ok to segregate races, and it's not ok to discriminate based on how people identify themselves.

It's all about those rose tinted glasses, I remember when things went great for me and therefore the world was perfect.
