If your car has any software, (which I am assuming it does because it's only a year old and all modern cars have computers that run the radio, blue tooth system, telemetrics, engine management etc) you will most definitely get free updates. I know I've gotten more than 3 software upadates for my 6 year old car. You probably don't care enough to look for said updates and download them.

Isn't that the point though? I don't care enough to go crying to the car manufacturer because it's not OP or in need of new content?

If your car's bluetooth system or radio had a really annoying bug you would be salty though. Speaking of bugs and annoyances destiny has loads of them, like it detection in the crucible, taking out old strikes from the playlist, a lot of year 1 exotics being made redundant etc. Surely it doesn't take 7 months to change light level on year 1 exotics or change the light level on year 1 strikes. Those updates are clearly being with held to extend the lifespan of the game.

A lot of games are redundant after a few months. Yet people still complain about destiny. IMO one of the best value games. Not perfect but great value.

A lot of game don't charge 60 dollars for a DLC though. My main complaint with Destiny is the unhealthy obssession with "balancing" which makes weapons obsolete. Last night I had a sudden urget to fire up gears of war and blow shit up with a mortar. The mortar felt just as powerful as it did when I first played the game. Wouldn't get that with destiny. Last time I tried pocket infinity it broken beyond belief. You could make a very strong argument for it being weaker than ordinary legendary fusion rifles. It feels like bungie took a huge dump on all the hardwork that went into obtaining the weapon
