Other than roughness, there isn't really a problem as far as SSE goes. It's "wear a condom, suffer the consequences, or don't at all."
They cover male protection in the male course, and female protection in the female course. Your point on the SSE is simply invalid, as they only use Heterosex as an example. A guy can't get a guy pregnant. A girl can't get a girl pregnant. So if the homosexuals are only concerned about STDs, why even bother using homosex as an example, when it is already covered in the heterosex example?

By simply saying wear a condom or don't do it is not enough. After i did it for the first time i decided to google safe sex and there was so much info o was scared out of my brains. We should be educated on std's regardless of gender or orientation. If anything it will scare the kids more into not doing it.

Reread my post. I said that the STD education is the same, they just only use heterosex examples because that covers STD education for both orientations, and pregnancy education for the heterosexuals.

Except it's equally terrible for all groups. Here's one for you: Your sex ed class probably mentioned condoms, maybe even the pill. But how often did it mention finger cots, dental dams, diaphragms, spermucide, vaginal rings, IUDs, or Depo-provera? How often did it explain common misconceptions about safety? How often did it explain microtears and blood transfer? Hell, how often did it even cover the importance of lube? Never heard any of this in your sex ed class? Huh, surprising, guess they really aren't great at teaching [i]anyone[/i] how to be safe. [spoiler]I'd love to see if you're even capable of coming up with a counter to this, I doubt there is one (at least that makes any sense).[/spoiler]

Well you must of went to some fancy school because all that i was taught and alot of other kids was how to put a condom on a bananna.
