Oi lads, I'm after a bit of help here. I'm trying to set up a stream for local Smash Bros. tourneys (64, Melee and Wii-U in particular). I'm not too fussed about the commentary aspect of it, but I'd like to get the best possible method of capturing the gameplay itself.
Basically I'm after a card that records, whilst making as little input lag as possible. Smash Bros. Melee can't really afford to have any tbh, so we'll be using CRT Tvs with the old school AV cables. HD/60 FPS isn't really mandatory, but would be good. Or is there a way to capture the game another way without frame clipping/painfully bad resolution?
I'll probably end up getting a HD capture card for Smash 4 matches too, but any advice on the best course of action?
Old mate who used to call me a streamer was right, fancy that.
Most fighting games I see on twitch have upwards of a 3 second delay between commentary and game. Bit annoying hearing reactions before the play, but it's whatever.
Capcom's stream, and many other world class fighters all had these delays :/
