Great. So now Year 2 players get to experience the worth of VoG armor, something that was special and exclusive to Year 1 vets. Will we have anything special?

A good experience shouldn't be exclusive to Year One, especially with raid gear.

Inspect my Titan. That stuff is special to me, and it should stay that way. I had it when it meant something. They need to make up new raid gear for this run. Bungie needs to throw caution to the wind with how much space this game takes up and start designing some new armor and weapons that aren't reskins.

Okay, so what's to stop them from running old raids and getting that gear? Nothing. It's not exclusive anyway.

No, as those are specifically time-gated (except for Gally). Those were meant only for Year One. There is no such limit on Raid Gear or experiences. That's a false equivalence. You just want to be special and unique. Wear an emblem then.
