Trade strange coins for heavy from xur. Run trials bounties 3x a week, buy heavy from variks in the reef. It's easier than you think. Iv got the exotic dead orbit cloak on my hunter, exotic fwc bond on warlock and half way to new monarchy rank 25 for my titan. Also you can buy planetary materials with marks and trade those at the vendor. Also knock out your daily bounties, do the daily heroic/crucible. It'll be done in no time if your actually committed.
