In december, bungie said the next update will be "an event of the size of SRL". A strike and a new PVP map sounds about right.

Yes, I was wrong....I re-read the december 10th update... https://www.bungie.net/en/News/Article/14179/7_Bungie-Weekly-Update--12102015 "The first of these early 2016 experiences will be on a scale close to Festival of the Lost (Crimson Days). The second will be far larger than anything you’ve seen since the release of The Taken King."
