Ah, you printed it off of MyMiniFactory? I've been looking at doing the same, but I'm terribly disappointed that you can still see all of the puzzle piece interlocking mechanisms in all of the finished prints I've seen… I think I'm gonna end up printing Bad JuJu or the Conduit F3 instead.

he clearly just made the gun in parts, and used a dovetail router bit to make fit it together.

The OP didn't technically 'make' the gun himself at all. The file he used to 3D print the gun is available to the public at MyMiniFactory.com. He just downloaded it, printed it, put the puzzle pieces that he printed together, and painted it.
