All the 'whombo combo' does is exactly what a fusion grenade does, except you have no tracking. You throw it at someone and hit them, you get the kill. And you need to use your grenade and melee to do it.
Firebolt you just throw them in the room your opponent is in, and that's it you have won the fight as your opponents wil take the initial damage then burn for a long time after. Which reveals their position and prevents them from recovering. Even if there are two of them in there. Then you have insane melee range (even when you don't have a melee charge) that does enough damage to kill a max health opponent if they have low armour, that does damage over time and gives an over shield on a hit (unlike defenders who require you to get the kill).
Nightstalkers are good, shade step and clever tether use makes they great at evading and shutting down other players. But if the nightstalkers has any other grenade that was good in pvp, like axion bolt, fusion, magnetic, lightning grenades, tripmines or fire bolts, you would NEVER see the wombo combo again.

You do know that to kill a low armor opponent you jave to have your scorch melee charge right. Its what triggers the burn
the more you know
-
I know that. The issue was that the range is still insane even when it's not charged.

Titans have less range but do more damage Warlocks have more range but do average damage Hunters(besides bd) have stong projectiles as melees. Its fairly balanced. Shut up and grow a pair

Average damage? They do the most damage with Viking funeral. And if you can't have a discussion with someone without trying to insult them, go back to school.

Viking funeral is an extra perk which you need on top. you dont know how things work. Scorch regular damage is 122. Stormfist has more. Grow a pair
