I'm actually excited about this FREE update
It looks like a decent chunk of new content and I loved prison of elders with my friends and the new mission sounds pretty dope!
What are your thoughts.

2 RepliesI think it looks pretty cool. Winters run was my fave strike. If they can actually have decent weapons for PoE, should be great. Only weapon worthwhile in HoW PoE was Her Benevolence. Rest were wasted.

1 story quest and 1 strike isn't my idea of a "decent chunk". The rest of it is simply another uphill battle against bad RNG across the [i]same exact content[/i] we've done before with slightly different-looking enemies to shoot at. Not really seeing where all the hype and praise is coming from, tbh.

I watched most of the stream live and I tend to agree with you. It all comes down to rewards we get for how tough it becomes. The weapons for HOW were not all that great compared to Year 1, but if we can infuse our existing gear well that will be great. I'm also curious to see how the Taken Archon Priest strike runs too. 3 RepliesIf I'm understanding the update correctly, it's 2 strikes and a PoE revamp that's been revealed so far. Not to mention the stuff that has yet to be announced. It's mostly a disappointment for year 1 players, but for us Y2 this is probably as good as it gets for right now. Especially if they bring all the Y1 weapons to Y2.
