The grenade isn't OP it is balanced due to the trade off, not to mention if you run unto a firebolts center you only take 97 damage with no burn my good sir. Warlocks have to properly place them otherwise they are useless.

    I have used the firebolts before you can nail someone direct center, or have them way at the edge and take 97 damage. My brain may be playing tricks on me though lol. Anyways there is not really any trade off, yeah you need 2 perks but that also effects melee and when your in super it just destroys. And no even if you don't get the direct impact for 97, you keep someone out of play for 14 seconds.... I will say that again... 14. Seconds. And not only are they left at a 1 shot (or 2 if you speak truth on the center part you mentioned) you can see where they go and where they hide. Neutral play is a bit too much on the class.

  • The game is suppose to be fast paced and they have a grenade that can leave you out of the fight for 14 seconds. Increasing burn rate and decreasing the damage by 1 would most definitely balance it out. And sorry for the confusion maybe a better wording is viking funeral is OP not the firebolt grenades themselves. Since you main a warlock you are showing a very big bias towards them. I'm not gonna win this fight of course because you think your right, but a grenade that can keep people out of battles and at low health for 14 seconds, and basically be a mini tracker at the same time is indeed OP. The trade off is basically none because the 2 perks that effect the grenades that make them oh so OP, also effects the melee and your super, with 2 perks you upgrade all main parts of your subclass. Now have a nice day bud. Keep the bias train rolling!

  • Nah I have a better KD on my Titan, but you neglect that I have to shoot you in the face for you to die unlike multiple other grenades bruh :P

  • Having a 44 day play time on warlock compared to a 5 day total of hunter and titan combined shows that you prefer warlocks hands down. firebolts bring you very close to death with the burn damage. And even though you have to shoot to finish the person off, they are at such low health you would have to hand the controller over to a new born puppy in order to die from the person who is burning. And tell me of some grenades that don't require you to shoot? Fusions are the only exception, and that is because you need to stuck the person to kill them everything else can be survived, as far as my knowledge goes.

  • So exclude a grenade because it automatically proves my point? Okay lightening grenade, tripmine, flux, swarm requires a body shot.

    Any of those grenades stop health regen for 14 seconds? Any of those grenades allow you to track the enemy you hit with almost pin point accuracy? No. And yes im excluding those grenades because they deserve a one shot, if you can nail someone with it they should die instantly, use the titan magnetic grenade that is the only one that does not instantly kill you and is the biggest waste of time to even use. If all fusion grenades were not one shots you would never see them used anywhere in crucible would be better to replace it with a stick of butter and expect them to die from that. If your saying fusions shouldn't be a one shot i have lost all hope in you.
