yes, I read it. perhaps you assume too much.
regardless my nightstalker cant self rez or throw 16 grenades in a single super. which also is another reason why firebolt is great. being to to throw 16 grenades that track is crazy.
can't throw 16 wombo combos at a time.
Have you even ran sunsinger?
Please go get yourself a clip of you using firebolts in PvP and throw 16 so we can count them . Remember to keep VF and ToF on because no one uses firebolts with any other perk.

Edited by Kazz0ng: 3/23/2016 11:41:26 PMok then, if I am wrong, enlighten me. last number that I heard on max grenades during radiance was 16, perhaps that has changed since then. which is entirely possible. I have not touched my warlock in some time now. regardless... how many grenades can you throw? because it is still far more than a nightstalker can use wombo combo. my two charges for 1 kill is still far less effective than your 1 charge for a cleanup kill around the corner as I am running away. also, single target damage is irrelevant after it does enough damage to kill.

Thats the SUPER. You really wanna argue about supers?

Edited by Kazz0ng: 3/23/2016 11:45:03 PMmy guess is that is what causes the complaints. since sunsinger super really only reduces cooldown for grenades and melee... they get to grenade spam, which causes the hate for the grenade itself. which isn't directed at the super. and I am not complaining about supers at all. :) just pointing out the use of the grenade in the most effective way.

I got alot of info and some pretty stout logic. You cant downplay smoke but exaggerate firebolt. Smoke and or wombo can be just as if not more effective due to firebolt ONLY doing DoT and having range. Looking at amount of effects of the two, wombo/smoke has muchbmore capabilities in terms of crippling teams. Firebolt on the other hand is amazing at crowd control and in the hands of the causual community, it is easier to obtain a kill due to nm lack of experiance. In the hands of top tier players.. well, there really isnt one better then the other.

your right the max number of grenades a warlock can toss is 16... how ever to toss that they have to chose the right perks since, "gift of the sun" and "radiant will" since these 2 perks are on the same tears as touch of flame and viking funeral well these elemate the DOT... with out radiant will and gift of the sun the max grenades a warlock can toss in super is around 4 maybe 5 if they are really really lucky.
-
with maxed discipline and perhaps an exotic armor to help?
-
4 or 5... and no DoT a kill every other nade maybe.
-
ok, that is fair. :)

sunslinger are area suppression by artillery bombardment.. their entire job is to pin people down or set people up for assists... every other super can kill with one hit.
-
well, technically they can 1 shot people with their super as well. scorch can kill in 1 hit while radiance is active, as well as fusion grenades, if they chose them over firebolts. but yes, essentially sunsinger is a support super. cover an area wih grenades to pin down and/or weaken so your teammates can clean up.
