You are completely ignoring my argument that the grenades are the super. If the warlock had that grenade and walked around with a massive flamethrower or some shit then I would agree it needs a nerf. But all radiance does is increase armor and make you look cool for 12 seconds and the option to self res. But blade dance has a one hit melee, increased armor, increased speed, and a great grenade in the skip

Like I said, skip is unreliable. Bladedance never hits. Sunsinger gets more armor with the super than bladedancer. It wouldn't hurt the super becsuse it would still take 2 nades to kill someone. No offense but at this point aa your arguments are exhausted and you're trying too keep a crutch.....
-
A crutch a crutch, my God. Your arguments against mine is all opinion based. I have mained Sunsinger since day one. They get nothing but armor boost and the ability to more effectively use their grenades and melee. nerfing it that hard would make the damn class weak as hell in the crucible. Which is not what anyone wants. For Christ sakes I presented a perfectly fine deal to nerf the nades fairly but keep the class strong. It is not unreasonable to to change a perk In the class to make it balanced
-
If they are playing with the perk they need to take viking funeral out period. That hurts the class more than what I proposed.
-
take viking funeral out, increase all sunslinger nade damage by 50% Replace the perk by one the boosts melee and nade damage by 200% while in super now your not burning your dead.
-
That is a stupidly overpowered suggestion.
-
200% put each nade in the same damage rate as a Golden gun shot.... are you saying that war locks dont actualy deserve a super after you nerf the crap after ther class?
-
Edited by Axsios: 3/24/2016 1:28:30 AMThe super would still be good. Just because its not overpowered doesnt mean its not a super. If you really think that a class needs a super buff in PvP look at nightstalker. Theres no reason a grenade should do 400+ damage. Ever.
-
every thing you porpose effects pve... a super doing 400 damage to a raid boss not even be able to take in into a night fall... wow way to make a call totally useless.
-
I am a firm supporter of separating PvE and PvP nerfs. I also don't care about PvE at all because I don't play it. PvE is hard.
-
I honestly don't like pvp, but bungie refuses to separate the two like every other game developer with half a brain would, so the PvP effects PvE... Raid boss, Night Fall boss and mini-boss can have up wards of 1,000,000+ hp some are even shielded... 400 is not even a drop in the bucked that's not even super let alone op.
-
Yeh, all my changes are for PvP only.
-
remember bungie doesn't separate pvp and pve... it would be great it they did it would be fantastic if that would but i doubt they ever will... so therehas to be something that will work int both worlds.
-
I got you.
-
Yes and replace it. Keep the burn cause by touch of flame. I think is a little more than your burn damage and replace viking funeral with a solid neutral game perk. That way I don't feel any weaker in the neutral game. My super in the nades are still stronger than most others and I don't feel any weaker
-
The perk would have to be complete ass. That isn't part of my actual logic thats my personal feelings towards 17 months of burning.
-
But why. It wouldn't do anything but harm the subclass. It wouldn't be balancing just because you don't like it. I find blade dancers very annoying but I want them on part with my favorite subclass then suck ass. It doesn't have to be too powerful just something along the lines of quick draw. Or a speed reload, or increased movement speed while in the super
-
Im thinking something like when low on health gains bonus accuracy.
-
So like pulse wave, but that would really have to be tweaked carefully.
-
Sure. Either way I doubt they are taking it out. They are likley nerfing it along the lines of what I said. I'm down for either though.
-
I hope not
