Gunsmith rank increases light level of arms day weapons
The gunsmiths rank should increase the light level of the guns you purchase on arms day. If you are rank 6 then the guns he drops are 286 instead of 280. At rank 40 the guns are 320. The current light leveling system is a mess. You get stuck at a light level for weeks of you don't get a drop. This would provide a direct predictable route to leveling guns and provide an alternative for solo players or people who have trouble getting raiding groups together to level.

3 RepliesI like this idea because as it is right now there's really no benefit to leveling up the gunsmith past rank 3. I hit rank 8 with my hunter last week and for the reward I got a Hakke Hand Cannon that had a crap roll and was 286 light :/ For the record I could care less about the light level, I'd just like to have more than three rolls to choose from on armsday orders, but any positive change would be welcomed.
