Okay lemme get started. In this video, this clip from the movie "The Rebuild of Evangelion 2.22" Shinji Ikari, Pilot of Eva Unit one . In this scene He, and the Eva are approaching god hood. Reason why is because Shinji wants Rei back. K. But since the Eva is becoming a God it is causing Second Impact. Second Impact is the end of the world, Destruction of Earth. Now what the scene doesn't show you is that The Eva, and Shinji are stopped. By a spear, The Lance of Longinus. And you're probably thinking "Oh well if some stupid lance stopped this god from destroying the world, then now there is no way it'll survive the Deat-" Relax. The thing about Longinus is it is meant to harm Angels/ Gods. It was literally the only thing to stop Eva unit one from destroying the world!

But this doesn't give us a way to measure their power. We can't just say because they are "becoming gods" that they are invincible. Zeus from Clash of the Titans is considered a god. But he is nowhere near powerful enough to survive the Death Star.
