Day 1 player , 2000+ hours ect ect lol
Aside from the usual dedicated servers, current gen only, 60fps, weapon balance, changes id like to see these or at least a version of these changes.
1. Crafting our weapons instead of re-roll.
When we get a weapon drop with good stats buy poor perks, it becomes marks and we feel RNG has forsaken us.
Instead, make it so every Nightfall completion allows us to craft 1 tier of 1 weapon per ACCOUNT... NOT CHARACTER.
This means it would take 4 weeks to craft a single gun to our personal specs.
First is sights or muzzles.
Second is perk
Third is middle row
Fourth is perk
Another possibility is a hybrid of mechanics that are already ingame.
Bring back the commendations and combine them with the gunsmith re-roll ability.
You earn a commendation, bring it to the gunsmith and once turned in you cant get it back.
Gunsmith gives you 3 variations of the gun you choose to reroll.
If none of the rerolls are to your liking you simply exit out and carry on.
(does not apply to raid/poe/trails specific weapons)
This comes about from both the Vanguard and the Cryptarch constantly giving me the Dilluvian LMG 70% of my rank up with each of them. For a RNG based game this is not acceptable.
Give the player a small say into his weapon perks.
2. Separation of Church and State (PvP and PvE)
Lets face it, there will NEVER be a perfect balance for weapons in this game. If the guns just had stats and no perks it would be simple but the addition of perks are both a blessing and a curse. Its what makes the game and the grind worthwhile as long as RNG is with you on occasion.
However with the constant bickering and complaining from PvP players about certain guns or perks being overpowered/overused and then the subsequent nerfs that follow are simply not acceptable to PvE players.
They have no say in this discussion. The shotguns getting changed so much in PvP now make them more difficult to use in PvE because....???
I don't see the Hive or the Vex or Raid Bosses on the forums complaining about the Touch of malice or Black spindle being OP.
Now the solution is a lot harder than most people think. With you can change the damage output in PvE per weapon the handling you cannot. You have to find a way to be able to have your game engine separate PvP handling from PvE handling.
In other words if a certain weapon is OP in crucible make the appropriate changes, but don't let those changes happen outside of PVP.
3. Larger patrol Squads and ingame/area capacity. More/different public events.
Simple... 6 player squads instead of 3 and allow 18 per area.
We need more player initiated public event areas (Court of Oryx), lots more.
With 5 tiers of difficulty instead of 3. And appropriate rewards for each.
4. Completion rewards.
It was quite a grind to get all 50 Calcified Fragments in the game and very time consuming.
Our reward for all this time and effort... A SHADER?!?!?
This is not acceptable. If you have a questline that requires weeks/months to complete, make the reward worth the wait.
The sheer disappointment of all the players that beat Oryx on challenge mode to get all 50 fragments to only get a shader?
Make the time/effort activities rewards worthy of excitement and anticipation instead of disappointment and loathing.
5. More weapon archtypes and differentiation.
Right now each guntype only has 3-5 different types.
The rate of fire and impact being the stats that depict which category it falls under.
Add 2-3 more types per weapon archtype and let the players decide which is their farvorite to use.
Weapon skins blah blah blah I'm not a PvP player so really don't care what they look like, only what they do.
6. Every other DLC or Sequel, EVERYTHING is brought up to new Light Levels.
All old content should be scaled up accordingly every 6 months or so. Allows new players to experience the content and make it relevant and Veteran players who really enjoy the old Strikes/Raids to enjoy them and receive relevant rewards.
Thanks for your time.
