Bungie should cease support for Destiny as soon as possible

With the release of Tom Clancy's The Division, it has become abundantly clear that Destiny's lifespan has reached its end. No major expansion content is planned, and the majority of Bungie's team is focusing on Destiny II, with only a small skeleton crew remaining to tend for Destiny. The simple fact of the matter that Destiny has far passed its peak level of activity. Players are leaving en masse to the competition like Tom Clancy's The Division, and at this rate Destiny will be on life support before the sequel is even announced. Destiny and the population within is not sustainable, despite the microtransactions. Therefore, I propose Bungie throw out some dead weight, so to speak, and cease support for Destiny as soon as Destiny II hits store shelves. Before then, I think it would be prudent to scale back support for the last generation versions of the game (Xbox 360 and PS3), seeing as those consoles are obsolete. Trying to hold on to a population that's dropping day by day is like trying to grip a wet bar of soap tightly; it doesn't work. Best not to waste time and money supporting a game that players don't support, and focus all your attention on the future. You're welcome.

  • I dont have words that can convey the aneurysm of idiot thought processes this guy miraculously formed into words. On one hand his facts were pulled from the same garbage can he uses as his bathroom. Destiny has content coming in less then a month (fact). Also destinys life has show decay due to the long lack of content but still 10,000 people play trials every weekend which indicates its servers are being used even 1.5 years in (haphazard number taken from trials report i looked at last week frain of salt folks). On second hand theres the division or i like to call it the one hitter quitter, you know because weeks after release its plumitting. Lets just call this post what it is. A poor guy spent hundreds on the division anticipating a game he would play for the rest of his poor lonely life. Unfortunately like for most games it was to a AAA title like what a french fry was to a starving person. It was incredible at first but sadly not enough to fill the hunger.
