No it won't, this idea is perfect. Pretty much all other grenades in this game damage you to one shot or kill you, but the other ones don't have a huge area of effect or keep you at one shot for 12 seconds. That 12 second one shot is the really culprit here. The other grenades require skilled timing so you can utilize the one shot, in order for firebolts to be balanced with the others they need to require that same amount strategy. With 3-5 seconds of melting point you need it to do less damage so the melting point is what kills you. It should take you down to two shot then melting point could get you killed with a single headshot or a couple auto rifle bullets. You can still hit multiple people on the other team with it and team fire them all. It keeps them as a distinguished grenade while making them more fair compared to the others. I've never seen such a great proposed solution.
