Anything minus itself is 0 So infinity minus infinity is 0 You can't have two lots of infinity because that implies that one infinity would stop somewhere and the next would start, which contradicts the whole point of infinity in the first place.

Which also saying infinity-infinity=0 implies infinity has a defined/finite value.
