Mayhem Clash for next Iron Banner!!
I know. Mayhem. Clash. Teams of roving bads, and fast charging supers. But stay with me.
Even against teams of 6 running Mayhem Clash all week, I have never seen a game
Mode where the lead could swing almost instantly.
Fast supers.
Fast grenades.
Who needs a primary, secondary, or heavy? Your super is charged again!!
So anyway. Had a great time this week leveling a hunter through mayhem; we need this as an Iron Banner mode.
Think of it. Queue solo? Doesn't matter. As a team? STILL DON'T MATTER! Rewards and bounties can be done easily... Maybe not the primary/secondary.. Hard to Mida someone that is Golden Gunning your face, but high score and others would be knocked out so fast people would have a chance to enjoy themselves again!
Stress free murdering! Like the Purge, but all week for Iron Banner!

Edit: agree or disagree all you like, just don't turn this thread into a typical "you scrub muffin. Look at your stats!" Or a "that's stupid, you're stupid for thinking that" without having any kind of Mayhem experience. It makes you a super douche nozzle.

I'd love to see 12 man teams vs 12 man teams in a game of control with 5 capture points on the combined arms maps.

I don't know out of all the sweaty gametypes all is fair in myhem crucible, the other modes just aren't quite as fun

1 ReplyPeople have got to think, Mayhem is fun for a little while, but grinding 3 characters to lvl5 and playing for a whole week would get so tiresome. Mayhem is fun, but for IB it's a bad idea.

Mayhem Clash, inferno 6v6 and 3v3 should be permanent playlists imo. This corner of the map camping sniping meta is really effin boring.

Still did well with my primary getting me my third (I think) Phantom medal (I'm not particularly good) while playing as a Defender Titan the other day. Was great.

4 RepliesNo. While mayhem is fun, it gets old real quick as you do not rely that much in the objective and teamwork and weapons in general but supers and nades. It would be annoying after the third or fourth game.

2 RepliesNo thanks. Perhaps they should just make all Taken King Crucible playlists Iron Banner during the event every month. Don't wanna play an Iron Banner playlist? Play classic for that week. This makes it accessible for everyone. Iron Banner Rumble? Done. Iron Banner Skirmish? Done. Iron Banner Elimination? Done. That's the way it should be. It should be a Crucible event, not just a Clash, Control or Rift event.
