I responded to a post in #feedback asking for this and said I would ask the Crucible team. No guarantees, but it does sound like a fun experiment.

Control and Clash have PLENTY of strategy. PLENTY. If this does happen it'll be the first IB I'll sit out since Destiny came into existence. Just leave the rotation alone. Is nothing here sacred? Sheesh, I honestly can't think of a single element about this game that someone on here hasn't started a thread on asking for change. I think the changes (almost all good in my opinion) we get with the sequels and the UNWANTED nerfs is plenty. Y'all just go to mayhem if that's what you want to play.

While you're looking at stats, take note my IB elo is top 2% Top 1% in zones neutralized, Control Top 2% in zones captured, Control DTR in top 4% Top 2% hours playing Played 20 games in IB today, went 13-7 Point is I've played a lot and played a lot of IB, and know what I'm talking about. Before you stick your foot in your mouth again, yeah, there's a huge difference between how I fared in pvp yr 1 vs. yr 2. Got my butt handed to me A LOT in yr 1 and it's taken a long time to improve to my current level and MUCH play to try and dig out of a year's worth of .40 k/d in yr 1. I'm way better in the regular playlist here in yr 2, next up on my list is focus on the 2v2 and 3v3 playlists incl. elimination, trials, etc. Ever hear of the punk band Circle Jerks? That's what mayhem is. Buncha folks runnin around with supers. Big flip. But have fun if that's your bag. I hope the powers that be leave IB alone, the current playlist rotatoin is great the way it is. Let your imagination run wild and Insert a few choice acronyms here _________________, bud, I couldn't care less what your little views are.

Couldn't be any worse than regular "Camp-or-die" Clash, and it's certainly more engaging than "No-solos-allowed" Rift. I say go for it. Anything to make people put down their snipers for a week.

Mayhem for IB is a bad idea. It'd be fun for about 3 or 4 games. A whole week of grinding 3 characters to lvl5 on Mayhem would grow soooo tiresome. Please do not do this.

For you it would be tiresome. I love this game mode. Played 16 hours ish of it this week. On the same character. Every night. I missed sleep. I drove to work tired. I got home tired. Played some more. It never became less fun than the first game. And I used to be one of those "screw mayhem" guys.
