Is my tattoo safe from sun?
Okay so i am going to 6 flags this weekend.
I will have had my tattoo for 2 weeks on Saturday when i go.
Its on my right shoulder/top of arm and im afraid of putting sun screen on it just in case it's not completely healed..
TL DR [b]if i keep my shirt on will it be protected from the sun?[/b]

2 RepliesKeep the shirt on but also wear sunscreen. As a matter of fact, wear sunscreen all summer. Always put sunscreen on tattoos unless you don't mind it fading. Especially if it has different colors.

Sunscreen is always good in general. But I'd probably keep it covered.

6 RepliesI worked with a guy who got a tattoo on the back of his shoulder. We were lifeguards and sat in the sun all day. He had just gotten the tattoo a few days prior, and he just left his shirt on. I'm by no means an authority on this subject, but I think if you leave a shirt on you should he fine.
