They will most likely be saved for release around September since destiny 2 won't release till some time in 2017.

So they are selling us the same exotics for a second time.

The new exotics that haven't be released technically have never been sold to us if we've never actually used them, but most likely when they do get released it'll be in a paid dlc i wouldn't be surprised.

They featured in the trailer advertising for the expansion and Luke Smith literally said each class would receive 6 new exotics.

Yeah I know. I wanna see them as well. Just being realistic about what bungie will probably do so I don't get high expectations for no reason.

I've learnt not to have high hopes with Bungie since release date but when I'm promised something and it features in an ad of the product I'm buying, I don't think it's any bit naive to expect it.
