I'm sure they are allowed to change their minds. It is their game after all. I don't know why this community feels so entitled.

I don't like the direction the game is going. I'm not defending Bungie but merely trying to point out that no matter what they do this community will always find something to complain about without knowing the intent of the company or the specific reasoning behind one of their decisions involving the continuing development of their game.

they advertised content before the release of the game with the missing content (that's called false advertising) to get people to buy into there game thinking they were getting what was advertised but we are not that is why people are pissed off

They are also allowed to pass that along to the player base. If they changed their minds, say so. But they don't have to...they have people like you that will defend them no matter what they do.

You paid for a game that will be forever changing. Ideas change in the adult world. At the end of the day it's their game. The biggest console game ever to date with 25 million registered accounts. I think they're doing just fine.

That's like you coming to me and wanting to buy a 1ct diamond wedding ring and I say that'll be $3000.00 and you pay it, after u pay you open the box and it's a half ct diamond(which is only $500.00) and you get pissed off and demand your money back and I just keep saying -blam!- off you got what u paid for and to stop being a little entitled brat. Does the ring come with a DLC and a 10 year plan?? Will whoever is wearing it have a chance to generate an orb when they melee someone? The ring is a finished product and obviously I would want what I purchased in its entirety. Nice try comparing a piece of jewelry to an online video game. Better stick to your day job.

A car needs an engine to run or else it wouldn't be a car. A video game is still a video game regardless if they don't release some things they originally had planned. Almost as dumb of a comparison as the jeweler guy.

So people who are asking for what was advertised as being in TTK are part of the problem? Really? We're not asking for Bungie to deliver on some vaguely worded not-quite-a-promise uttered 2 years before vanilla or anything like that. These exotics were shown fully textured and in use in the TTK launch trailer, a month before release, and have been completely visible, stats and all, in the armoury since TTK released. I'm pretty sure it's you Bungie-can-do-no-wrong white knights that are the real problem here, not us.

When does asking for advertised content become crying? If I bought a laptop that was advertised as having 8 GB of RAM, and when I start it up I find it only has 4 GB, would I not be justified in asking for the other 4 GB? Or am I just supposed to let the company who sold it to me get away with false advertising? "Well, looks like they lied to me, I guess I'll just have to accept it and hope they don't lie to me about the next laptop I buy."

Well in that case you are paying for a finished product and there would be reason for concern but that 4 GB is probably just being used up by operating software : ) You bought a ticket into their world that will be forever changing.. it is not a finished product but arguably the greatest idea in console history thus far. I'm sure there's good reason for them not releasing those exotics. They don't owe you an answer. Take a step back and look at the bigger picture from a development standpoint and not a consumer.

We bought The Taken King dlc, which was given to us as a finished product. The Destiny series as a whole may not be finished, but a dlc is not sold as a work in progress, it's sold as the finished next step in the game. So yes, we did purchase a finished product.

Developed enough that bungie should be able to answer why they aren't in the game yet. Look, I'm not asking Bungie to put them in the game right now or anything like that, I'd just like an answer as to why they aren't, when they were clearly advertised for TTK six months ago. That's not too much to ask.
