Lol that's why there are spokespersons. There is/was (I have to check if it's still on there) a documentary on Netflix about all the crap going on in Ukraine. The spokesperson for the government head gave nothing but BS to the people, and the people saw through it. But you could see the guilt and conviction in the speaker's face because he new it was crap, but that's what the government wanted him to say. He was between a rock and a hard place.
