Take the aim assist away and see how much skill they have after that

You seem to misunderstand what AA does. It's a measure of how long the reticle stays on an enemy when a player aims at said enemy. ..... That's it really.
-
It would play a large role, however, in aiming when being shot at.
-
They won't have any. I would prefer taking away the ability to strafe while sniping or actually take that scope down when taking fire. Wishful thinking of course.
-
Wait, would that mean people in Call of Duty that normally have aim assist turn off and are really truly good can just transition to Destiny no problem gun wise?
-
Ever tried hitting your own teammates? Yea, it'll be that hard to do with any gun all the time.
-
Try hitting anything after that...
-
What's funny is I have been using the Uzume omolon sniper and it had AA of 30, can still hit things pretty freaking easily with it lol So imagine what Yasmine at 69 and 1000 yard at 56 can do.
-
30 aim assist is still aim assist. Get a fireteam member, go to a random patrol and have him move around and try to snipe him. If you can then you are probably the best sniper on Earth.
-
But what about people who use an efrideets spear with an ambush scope? Ambush takes it down to 0 aim assist

Edited by FinnaCoom: 4/2/2016 6:18:16 AMReally? Wow I didn't know that. I used to use efrideets with ambush no wonder I coudn't nit anyone with that thing lol.
-
Edited by Wow I Jake: 4/2/2016 7:50:28 AMHaha yep. Efrideets has an aim assist stat of 10 and ambush reduces aim assist by 10. I haven't played in 6 months until 2 days ago, so I haven't recently, but that's predominantly what I used to use to keep my shot on point so I didn't get used to the high aim assist. I'll probably start doing it again once IB is over and I'm back to playing regular crucible
-
Can't be true, I use ES with only an ambush scope and I still get some AA. There might be less AA than other snipers but its still there.
-
You can look up the stat values for yourself, it's not really debatable. There's probably a base aim assist stat that's applied to the game so most likely no weapon can truly hit 0, but if there is, efrideets with ambush still has the lowest aim assist in the game regardless of weapon class. You literally have to be looking for AA in order to notice it
-
In that case, I'm gonna sound like a knob but AA on sniper doesn't sway my skill level on a sniper at all. In fact I prefer lower AA.
-
Thats you. Not the realkrafty wannabes
-
I miss my very low AA Efrideet's Spear.
-
Did icebreaker have good AA? I always did really well with it
-
I always felt that sniper had really high aim assist Since I barely miss with that sniper rifle in my early days of year one sniping, heck I could almost always adjust my sights before my prey got to cover. Let me check.

Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm...... That is not right, through the websites that I am looking up the aim assist is 40-50. So my guess is that it has Hidden Hand as a hidden perk or maybe that it has a higher zoom scope with the right amount of AA or perhaps both..........
