Im not saying that exotics are what sway me either. What I'm getting at is that it's quite the dick move if Bungie tries to sell us the exotics advertised for TTK in another DLC. We already paid for TTK thinking we'd get them, to make us pay again would be ridiculous. False advertisement is not a good way to keep players.

Quite honestly, I never even looked at them. So I, at least, didn't pay for it thinking that. There's only like 1 of the on the list I would use, anyway. I don't know. I just can't get worked up about this. There's so many other things I'd rather they do.. Like balance the stuff we have first.

So you didn't pay for things advertised in the trailers? Silly me, I thought when something was advertised as being in the DLC, it'd actually be in there. My mistake.

My mistake.
I didn't spend time picking through the trailer looking for specific armor pieces the Guardians were wearing that could possibly be new exotics, no. I noticed Phobos, the Dreadnaught, Oryx, Taken, swords, the new subclasses. I figured there would be new armor and other weapons, but don't know enough about or care enough about that to want to pick through it noticing new models.

Your ignorance and apathy doesn't make false advertisement any less false.
Your ignorance and apathy doesn't make false advertisement any less false.
I don't think it's ignorance not to be aware of every armor/weapon model in the game, nor is it apathy to not fervently dissect a trailer.

False advertising is also illegal

Not with the lovely EULA we all signed it isn't.

Blast those 10000 long page scripts we never care to read.

Yeah, no kidding. It pretty much gives Bungie the right to change, add, and remove whatever they want from the game whenever they want and we have no legal right to get after them for it.
Yeah, no kidding. I can think of about a hundred more worthy targets off the top of my head to go after than Bungie, if we could. I mean, even if I agreed with every single thing people think is wrong with Destiny and/or Bungie, the fact would remain that Destiny overall would still be in at least the top 10% of games on the Xbox for the price. I'd rather go after some of the others for making total garbage.

I'm going after Bungie because I know they can be better than this, they have in the past. I'd like to see them improve, but they never will if they keep up the shady business practices and poor communication

Petition for a law against EULA'S being longer than 1 page. Honestly most of the crap is just substance in them to make it seem too unbearable to read. Heh, whatever. I bet if someone read through the EULA and posted where it said these things bungee would have a riot on their hands
