So, I was just wondering what everyone is doing in preparation for the update. I've heard that some are engram hunting. Not sure if that will work, but why not? Others say stack up bounties, and max out marks. What are you guys doing?
I'm going to start with increasing the mileage on my cardio days, bumping up the rep count on my chest and back days, and throwing in an extra core routine on Saturdays. Gonna have to increase my daily pre AND post game stretching by at least two minutes. Just to be safe. Trying a new protein shake too. Whey based.
I'll let you guys know how it works out. Seriously though, you guys have any tricks up your sleeves? Let's hear 'em!

Banking glimmer consumables, banking exotic engrams(have 60+) saving all motes and heavy ammo synth for when factions actually give decent stuff. Saving trials legendary marks bounties also.
-
I'm doing everything everyone says so I can come here on the 14th complaining that there's not enough content. Naturally.
-
Gonna turn my PS4 on, download the update and play. Nothing more...no engram stores, glimmer stock, legendary mark hoarding, faction rep, nothing. I'm sure I will be a couple weeks behind the true hardcores but don't care. Not gonna buy eververse sterling packages either.
-
Preparing to max out this small update that's going to be the only thing to do for months? No thanks, I'll just play as normal.
-
Keeping ib and too mark bounties so 150 on each plus full 200 Saving engrams thats about it Ill edge my factions up after xur is here next weekend
heavy ammo
-
Edge your factions and hoard legendary marks.

LOL This post is funny. Alright so what I'm doing is just trying to get all of my favorite stuff to 310. I figure then it won't have as far a jump to make to 320 and 335. So using lots of Three of Coins and hunting Ultras. Some say to save those Exotic engrams and decrypt them after the update. But that's like a long time from now in my world and I don't want to wait and possibly lose interest in Destiny. Good post :)

I'm not infusing anything
-
Getting ready to gain an extra 10 lb, but I'll I'll exercise by screaming with frustration. Fingers crossed.
-
Everyday before I play destiny I stretch for twenty minutes. You don't want to rip your hammy

Getting in my forum bunker.
They'll never ruin the game for me here...
-
Deleted the game
-
I'm holding onto my butt.
Got some serios diarrhea going on right now. It really sucks!
-
Be patient I'd your trying to lvl your faction I would wait till after the update they're gonna buff the reputation you can earn and vanguard or crucible accommodations are back so if you want your faction lvled that is your moment!
-
I'm saving engrams, but I recently heard someone say that it won't work?
-
Stock pile heavy ammo synths and motes for faction rep.
-
Completely cut salt from your diet. There will be an unhealthy abundance when the update drops.
-
Hoarding motes (for faction ranking) and strange coins for 3oc, also weapon and armour parts, and assorted upgrade materials. And booked the first 3 days off work after launch XD
-
Saving engrams. I have 25 exotic and 25 legendary. The exotics have a chance at the new ones and legendaries for upgrading the cryptard. I'm also going to edge my factions. That's about it
