Even some of the best Snipers in Destiny will tell you that Sniping takes as much 'skill' as any other gun type out there. Snipers have a low skill floor, but a high skill ceiling. They're easy to use, even at first, and adapt to - but do to some of the really insane stuff requires a long time and a lot of practice using them, which is why Snipers like TrueVangard and others can usually outsnipe just about everyone. That being said, Sniper Rifles are getting their fix on the 12th most likely. I'm expecting they will reduce the total Aim Assist, make them have longer handling times and hopefully make them have actual recoil when being shot by other players (especially in the head).
