i don't think you can honestly say sniping takes less skill than shotgunning. i figure fusion rifles might take more skill, but not shotguns. If somebody is sitting in the middle of a plain and you try running at him with a shotgun, he's going to kill you. just like if he tries to snipe you around short sharp corners, your gonna kill him. unless, he outplays you. It takes skill to beat a shotgunner around a corner with a sniper. also, i would like to point out that the world record number of kills in crucible (solo) was a thorn shotgunner. 50 of his 70+ kills were with his shotgun you can adjust to snipers, the same way you can adjust to shotgunners. don't stand in the sniper lane, use pulse rifles to flinch them, or just beat them at their own game. It's all strategy. but I probably shouldn't have even posted this, I generally just read and carry on my way, but i guess i was feeling spicy today. so yeah.
