As an aspiring astrophysicist, I know a thing or two about space. I also know that space is super cool and almost everyone I've ever talked to wants to learn more about it. This is a technique of studying I do with friends and family, as by teaching something that I know, if better cements that concept into my brain.
Fair warning: I don't know everything, and I will let you know if what you're asking is out of my grasp. But I'm pretty good, so fire away.

What is your standpoint on the theoretical Alcubierre effect?

Are wormholes plausible/how would they even work if so?

Is it true that tiny black holes constantly form around us but just disappear almost instantly due to Hawking radiation? I just heard this on offtopic and I honestly don't know if what he was saying is true
-
Do you believe in the "exploded planet" theory?
-
If light can't even escape a black hole after a certain point, what effect does one have on, say, something like radio waves?

I'm just a simple high school astronomer and I don't think I'll ever have an actual career in astronomy (I'm studying to become an aerospace engineer) but I've got a question; how much would you get paid or what would you receive if you were to discover a planet or other celestial body of importance? It's a dumb question but after watching a particular episode of psych recently I've been curious.

I would but I don't know enough about astronomy to question it.
