  • In a situation where all things are equal, who's going to have an advantage: * The person who only relies on the free boxes and has a set with wonky stats and perks OR * The guy who buys a bunch of boxes on day 1, has faster reload for the the weapon he's actually using, extra heavy ammo for his equipped heavy and stats that fit his build? The point is that a lot of people are already running around with completely horrible builds. It's going to get worse when new sets - sets that more or less everyone will use - come out. Don't get me wrong, I don't think it's the end of the world and no one is forced to use said sets but I can see the argument that money is speeding up the gearing process. The reason I'm against this whole thing isnt a potential p2W. I'm against it because the boxes share content with in-game progression. I would be perfectly fine with it if the boxes only offered "sterling silver only gear". But from what i can gather they do not. Outcome, people are just going to buy the content they otherwise had to play for, resulting in less game longetivity. Even if people initially had no plans on buying silver it's going to happen when they see everyone around them do it and prance around in new sets.
