My Journey to Exotic Sword
What are the steps of the exotic sword quest? And is it really that long and would it be worth my grind? And is the PvP part of the quest that brutal? And what are the efficient ways to get kills with the Sword Hilt or the Regular Sword other than the mayhem playlists since today is Zone Control (for the week). The Exotic Sword I'll be getting is Bolt Caster and I heard from my friends that its the best Exotic Sword in PvP

For the PVP section I recommend Mayhem Clash. Reason being: - More people to potentially kill - Heavy drops more often - You can collect heavy drops from any enemies that you kill (who have heavy) It was the farming for materials that I hated. The final strike isn't the hardest. It's niggly, but I've done it with 3 and I've done it with 2.

The sunless cell final part is the worst as you have to find a team who are doing the same sword. Make sure you're the fire team leader so they don't try and boot you thinking they're funny.

if you're just using the hilt i heard that if you start your 1st hit in the air your melee will have no cool down so you can swing the sword again immediately after the 1st attack

4 RepliesIts great for PvP and you need to 1. 25 sword PvP kills can use just hilt no need for blade. 50 major/ ultra kills 2. Kill a special hive knight on the dreadnaught in the asylum. That area from the sunless cell where the door is sealed by hive runes. To get there you need to go to patrol head towards that room like you would in the strike, and kill the three knights in the room before with one super to open the door. Don't forget your sword 3. Collect 10 special materials from spin metal. And kill 500 enemies with arc abilities. Melee doesn't count. 4. Wait until the next arms day 5. A special version of the sunless cell where you need to kill a certain knight in the boss room and then kill the boss within 30 seconds of each other. You can kill the other two knights immediately but leave the one with the arc shield alive until you weaken the boss enough to quickly kill him. Better to bring friends because you never know what sword match made people might need and you might get in each others way. 6. Get the sword from shaxx. Hope this helps and I believe I got all the steps.
