people need to learn the difference between "nerf" and balance changes...
nerf is when you are just flat out making something worse across the board.
balance change is when you take away a few things while adding / changing others to make things better...
but back to the topic... the only "nerfs" that have hurt PvE are the over the top weapon nerfs. IE - the auto rifle nerfs that made the entire weapon class mostly worthless in every activity in the game. subclass changes ain't going to do anything because when it boils down it, in PvE, the weapons are what is doing the damage. the subclasses help with crowd control, and burst damage but for the most part are just grenades and jump abilities. as long as the super doesn't change ALOT (like completely redone and /or made worse by a large %) and as long as the subclass isn't more or less deleted from the game. PvE will be fine.
