So I'm planning on building a PC for the first time and I have a budget of 1500$ I've never built a PC before. Is this a good setup?

Specs:
Processor: Intel Core i5-6600
Motherboard: Asus Z170 Pro Gaming
Memory: Crucial Ballistix Sports DDR4 2400 (8GB)
Graphics Card: GTX 980
Power Supply: Corsair CX600M 600 watt 80 Plus Bronze
Primary Storage: Samsung 850 EVO 250GB
Secondary Storage: Western Digital Black 2TB WD2003FZEX
CPU Cooler: Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO
I know it's a lot of money for my first PC but I've got no expenses and nothing else to spend my money on anyways.
My main concern is that mouse & keyboard as they're currently a bit too expensive for my tastes
What's the cheapest good gaming keyboard and monitor I can get?

2 grand is WAY overkill for a gaming rig unless you are going ALL out for the 4k quality and recording it at the same time lol. Consider closer to 1000-1200 for a beast PC. I have a Gaming rig I could link you to that I bought if you want, I can run pretty much anything at max and record it at 1080p, 60FPS (Through OBS). Ran Dying Light at max, Battlefield 4, and Shadow of Mordor at the highest settings no issue.
