Is this a good PC build?
So I'm planning on building a PC for the first time and I have a budget of 1500$ I've never built a PC before. Is this a good setup?

I know it's a lot of money for my first PC but I've got no expenses and nothing else to spend my money on anyways.
My main concern is that mouse & keyboard as they're currently a bit too expensive for my tastes
What's the cheapest good gaming keyboard and monitor I can get?

2 RepliesEdited by pokepatrick1: 4/6/2016 8:35:26 PMYou don't need to get a new keyboard and mouse unless you don't have any spares, even then you could probably go cheaper. Having special keyboards doesn't really do anything. And you also don't need a monitor if you have a TV with HDMI ports that's not in use. The one you chose doesn't have a resolution too much higher than a lot if TVs, so it wouldn't make a difference anyways. You should also probably learn and hand pick your parts instead taking a build from the internet, it's better to not go in blind. Update: Just looked at the parts and prices. Your build is almost identical to mine, except mine has a better CPU and is $800 cheaper. You should definitely get to know the parts and pick then more carefully. You should use pcpartpicker to help you with the process. [spoiler]Also $44 for 8 GB 2X of RAM is way to much.[/spoiler]
