Hi guardians!
About a month ago I posted a question about scuf controllers (ps4). I ordered one for myself but I wanted to find out about other players experiences with a scuf controller.
The thread got many replys and there were a lot of different opinions, both good and bad.
Here is what I think about the controller and the use of it. this is my opinion but feel free to give yours in the comments
The ordering went well but it took them the maximal days to send it out (11 workdays). So I roughly had to wait 3 1/2 weeks before the controller was delivered at my house.
Positive:
• The scuf triggers feel good and natural to use.
• The details on the controller look awesome and expensive (wich it also is).
• I bought the button remapping option 19£ and that works really smooth.
Negative:
• The analoge sticks look a bit plastic.
• The scuf triggers prevent it from fitting in my ps4 charging station. (Now I charge with a cable again....)
• Sometimes the controll will get a mild stroke and you will have to restart it to make it work properly again.
• High price (I bought a lot of extras so the total was around 149£/190€/215$)
This controller won't make you a FPS god.
You need a LOT of practice with it for you to become a real scuf-pro.
But once you master it, it can and will give you the edge over your opponent.
In Destiny it does not give you such an advantage as in CoD because the game is much slower.
But being able to ress your teammate and shoot your opponents at the same time is nice!
Or making some nice slides with your shotgun.
Final verdict:
It does all that it prommises but that comes with a price.
Would I buy one again?
Depens on the lifelenght of this controller, but at this moment I would say no
