This community is awful at adapting. You people find crutches & bitch your heads off when they're taken away.

So what exactly adapt to when a change made solely for PvP balance highly impacts PvE experience? And it's not that I assume all content will be more difficult. You just need to interrupt damaging the bullet sponges a lot more often to run around and gather ammo. That's not hard, it's simply annoying. Is there any reason why I want to adapt to an unfun mechanic that wasn't even introduced to balance PvE encounters?
-
Yeah... Because all snipers are crutches. Hell, all guns are crutches. Let's just go and melee the boss to death and remove all guns from a FPS
-
Yep every time a new meta come out I adapt. I actually find it kinda fun.
-
I guess we're not suppose to have ammo in our guns then, huh?

Crutches like ammo?

And in your infinite wisdom, what primary should we use instead to make up for the loss of DPS? Will a fusion rifle really due against the war priest over the kind of distances you will be shooting? No? How about a sidearm....Those will surely result in more DPS.... #Sarcasm.
-
Sleeper stimulant? Hey, you asked for a fusion...
-
Yeah I guess sleeper may do okay. Charge up time is a bit slow and heavy ammo availability is always spotty though. Besides, that is just the last good option we have left. Can you imagine what the LFG will be now? "KF Hard, Must have 335 sleeper simulant" Quite honestly, all of this could be avoided if they were willing to do the HARD thing by separating PVE from PVP. there is no excuse as to why PVE should ever suffer due to the desires of PVP players. I understand the need for balance in PVP, but in PVE, all the fun comes from shooting aliens with ridiculously overpowered weapons. If those weapons become requirements for LFG, that's Bungie's fault. They CAN NOT control LFG elitism through nerfs. The only common sensical thing they can do is implement a way for people to have access to those activities without LFG (i.e., opt-in matchmaking).

True, there are games that separates changes that are made in PVP from PVE. So one stat, ability, nerf/buff in one are separate and only apply in the other and vice versa. Idk why Bungie could not simply put the time to get the coding down across the game for that to happen. It would be justified in additional development time, since it would literally fix all these threads about PVE players getting shafted for changes that are primarily made in PVP. Then they can use what they have learned and implement and improve for Destiny 2. It is true IMHO, that an online game with PVE and PVP modes should have a system where changes in PVP would not affect the PVE side.

Bravo

On 1kys and mida they said they were good and balanced but we're nerfing them due to popularity
-
Adapting? Dumb.

Your statement may be correct in pvp but this makes shit harder in pve. Instead of making the encounters harder let's just make it take longer to kill our bullet sponges... Pvp is ruining the experience for many pve players
