So just so everyone realizes.
Bungie is a company. They want to make money and have large amounts of play time.
What better way to increase play time than making things harder? Since ammo is now nerfed damage will now be less and bosses will take more time to beat which means more play time. Also since ammo perks will be more important it will mean more grind, which means more play time.
So for the last time so everyone finally realizes. Bungie doesn't care about the community. They want dat money. The devs are great creative people. But under the influence of the higher ups they can't do what they want for the game.
And since everyone is crying about PvP and how it causes nerfs like this. It does. PvP has been the cause for a large majority of the nerfs. Bungie simply does not want to take the time to separate weapons. Destiny would likely be better if weapons in PvP performed differently than in PvE.
So basically. Play time. That's what Bungie wants, and money. That's it. Not the approval of their community. None of that stuff. Which makes perfect sense. They are a company.

They don't make money from playtime though. If you piss people off and they quit playing Destiny, you lose money from DLCs and Destiny 2.0. Just an awful decision all the way around.

In your opinion Bungie only cares about money and play time and not what the the community approves of. Sounds like a formula for failure, if true.
-
Or another opinion is that they just nerf weapons into the ground instead of buffing other weapons.

It is.

In that case I will follow through with a decision I made some time ago. That was, when the next DLC drops that requires money to be paid to Bungie I will reward their dedication to customer satisfaction with "NO THANK YOU !!!!!!!"

Pretty glad I haven't played destiny in over a month. I want to but they keep making it worse.

Or they could just be listening to the whiners? Like they have 5 times before...
