I broke up with her while still being deeply in love with her cause I couldn't handle all the family stuff. Crazy how important and involved family is to some people. My idea of family is parents, siblings, and their kids. Stops there. I don't even know the names of my second cousins, lol.

Wow I'm really sorry. Even though I'm Hispanic, I feel the same way you do. I only care about my immediate family & hate the rest which makes me fight with them a bunch. My husband is still adapting to my family and how involved they are & I fell terrible for him lol.
