I don't think many of my maternal relatives would show up if I was marrying a black girl, but my parents, brother and my fraternal relatives would still most likely show up if they could.
I am sorry to hear your wedding wasn't as good as it should have been. (Family politics is a dreadful thing)

It's all good. It's still my family. It's just sometimes people hold onto old wounds. Either way, that marriage didn't last long, she wasn't the most loyal of people. I also think we were both too young to be married.
