Hold the phone dude. What boss besides Rockets Galore, just stands there and takes hits? Most of the bosses in the game have phases. You're not going to dump all your sniper rounds in one 30-60 second phase.

There's a ton of other DPS weapons that aren't snipers

True but bosses like warpriest and golgoroth , people prefer to spam them with snipers
