I'm not disagreeing that the weapon balances should be separated, but it is much easier and less resource-intensive to do changes across the board. I understand that the major allure of Destiny was based around raids/strikes, but PvP has always been a huge part of the game from the beginning. Bungie forged their reputation from creating, debatably, the greatest shooter of all time. To think that PvP wasn't a big cornerstone of Destiny since its inception is a little asinine (not directing that towards you).
