Warpriest and Golgoroth you use a lot of ammo for each attack. I run out of ammo even when I'm full of ammo.
Now I'll have to switch to primary/heavy for damage so not only is my dps dropping but all my teammates dps is dropping which is really dumb.

Almost makes me want to pull out No Time To Explain for these types of bosses. Lower dps, sure, but I could use a high impact sniper with triple tap at first and then switch to NTtE when my sniper reserves have been depleted.
-
Agree. I've been thinking about this too. Just wondering if not having to reload NTTE will be any trade to the low impact it delivers.
-
too bad I haven't done year 1 content, I think it's the only exotic I'm missing.
-
There's always blessing/Malice. Or if you don't have a Titan you can cover that with tether for extra damage. I guess people will just have to get used to not killing bosses in one or two cycles anymore. I saw it coming though. It happened with Atheon when they stopped the teleportation strategy. it happened with Crota when they made his standing timer set instead of occasionally random. It happened with Skolas when they removed elemental burns.
-
Blessings will be too dangerous and people will choke. There's people that have clans so that way is easier because you will practice it with them. Once you do it with randoms it's a lot harder to do everything.
-
Oh believe me, I know. I'm a clan leader and there's a big difference between playing with them or with randoms. I can run King's Fall in under an hour with them. Yet, my worst run with randoms took almost 5. People need to get used to playing under pressure though. Destiny is extremely easy and lenient in "stressful" situations. There's almost always a way out.
-
Yeah, it's hard to do new strategies or explain to them because then it will be a lot more wipes. I'm a year 2 player and I get 3rd and 4th knight with ease, yet I don't know why year 1 players with so many raid completions still die doing simple stuff. Maybe I'm a quick learner or maybe a lot of people just can't handle situations they aren't comfortable with.
-
It's the latter. I've been playing since the beta. I've run into players with just as much grimoire as myself (maxed out which can only be obtained if you've done literally everything) yet they still can't do something like... swap sides on confluxes or run relic on Oryx.
-
Lol Conflux is like the easiest segment of any raid and people still screw it up. Litteraly, all you have to do is kill shit and not die.
-
Right, I've done the whole raid up to Atheon with 3 people. It's pretty sad how someone can be so bad that they make the entire team worse though.
-
idk what confluxes is, I bet it's from a year 1 raid. Run relic on oryx is a bit different because it's based on jumping not really shooting and staying alive. I tend to get annoyed when players die on their platform because they 'forget' the ship passes by, they die to an eye, die in the middle because they try to kill ogres as fast as possible even though they can take a bit longer and the ogre will still die at the same spot.
-
Thanks for the thoughts and suggestions maybe I'll see you in kf one day
-
Confluxes are a Vault of Glass thing, yeah. I've run all strategies and all roles on each, so I don't understand people dying often at all. Dealing with eyes and ogres are the easiest things in the raid in my opinion. The only hard part about relic running is worrying that someone will die and make the platforms disappear.
