Yes but in pve special ammo will be dropping at a much more rapid rate.

Right that's what I was thinking. Maybe on the way up to the boss it will be great but then at boss you will have to be camped out by special. Let's not forget that adds drop ammo boxes as well though. It may not be as awful as we foresee.

Unless your in cover fighting a boss, lol and since when do the mechanics work flawlessly
