I'm a white ass country boy that married a Hispanic city girl.
I used to have prejudices, but then I grew up. Skin pigmentation isn't something that should prevent me or anyone from love.
We definitely have culture differences and we have clashed before, but we found a solution that satisfies us both. You know what they say, opposites attract.

I'm happy you found someone and didn't let skin color get in ya way! Clashing cultures can be very stressful. But at least it offers you a different way on looking at life

Very true, I went to Miami to visit her family once, culture shock isn't enough to explain what I felt. The language barrier, food, greetings, the way they treat women, it was......interesting. I'm sure she felt the same when I took her to my small ass hometown. I wouldn't say my family culture shocked her, just the town itself.

For me, I can barely understand any accent that isn't american. So it definitely be hard for me, but still a life experience.
