I also like to eat soup with a fork sometimes, just to spice things up. I can understand why people love to use the spoon so much though. It is more efficient than the fork. Almost as though the spoon were suited towards those sorts of meals. What kind of a silly person uses the right utensil for the right food though? So boring.
