That's true, but the way that King's Fall is design, it requires a high amount of sniper rifle usage.
Weapons like the Spindle and Yasmin are perfect due to their reloading abilities which pump out the maximum damage possible in the shortest amount of time to avoid enrage mechanics. You can't do that with the Fusions/Shotguns/Rockets because the first two just don't do the large crit damage and the latter not doing crit damage altogether.
Forcing us to rely on primary and heavy (when heavy barely drops as it is) is a horrible way to make players play, when the content is designed around special being used as the 'primary' way to kill a boss. Tearing away the ammo capacity makes these encounters incredibly difficult to complete in comparison to how they currently are. I'll also make note that currently Quillims is the most used heavy for endgame content because of how good it is, and it's being nerfed similar to how the snipers are.
If you're a top tier player, this isn't going to affect you in a detrimental fashion as you'll find ways to bring bosses down in a single cycle if you're lucky. But the average Destiny player isn't top tier and are completely average - struggling with endgame content is normal. This is just going to make it impossible to clear in any reasonable time.
tl;dr they better buff the ammo brick drop rate by at least 250-500% to make this viable in endgame content, otherwise barely anyone is going to complete the bosses without triggering an enrage.
