Hand Cannons

So they are adding 10 base range to the Hawkmoon so if you choose the perks that increase range it'll end up with 51 range. Now that's cool it can then be competitive with mid-range weapons, and with a lucky 2 bullets you can 2-shot someone. But what about the other hand cannons? Ace of Spades Max range is a great 62 Imago Loop With a range based roll can max out at 62 making it on par with AoS Eyasluna With a range based roll can max out at 62 making it on par with AoS Hawkmoon After the update it will get a maxed range at 51 so while a little under the others of the same archetype it's other perks give it a good edge. The Last Word While the range is pitiful the incredible rate of fire and bonus damage makes up for the 8 range it can have The First Curse Being in the archetype of the slowest firing HC's you'd think there would be a bonus somewhere. The max range is only 53 so it can be out gunned by all others at range (besides TLW) thanks to the slow RoF. But what about the impact? Well even though it gets a whopping 94 it still takes 3 shots to down a guardian giving it no edge over any of the other mentioned HC's. In the end while it feels like a great marksman heavy hitting HC it's just underpowered compared to the others especially since it's an Exotic. That's just my take. I love using my Ace of Spades and I love the feel of The First Curse but I really think it needs a little loving to give it an edge.
